Human sinfulness -- leads to people looking for scapegoats (instead of taking personal responsibility).
Hitler used the Jews as a convenient scapegoat for the problems that Europe faced.
Also, Hitler was influenced by a writer who was influenced by Eugenics (which arose out of faith in Darwinian Evolution).
According to Evolution, humans evolved from ape-like creatures. So the Eugenics programs/ scientists believed that humans could help human evolution by eliminating the misfits and by eliminating the "inferior races" (as defined by them)...
Hitler and his officers put into practice what they had come to believe in (based on such Evolutionary Eugenics programs).
There is evidence that the top officers in Hitler's government were into neo-paganism, and were attempting to bring back worship of the old Nordic Gods -- and to do so, they had to eliminate anyone who would refuse to worship such gods.
So, there were multiple factors.

Hitler was a common wall paper hanger who had the ambition to be the first man to ever be the supreme ruler of the world. His motto, repeated over and over again was, " Heute gehert us Deutchland, morgan die ganse welt". TODAY GERMANY BELONGS TO US, TOMORROW THE WHOLE WORLD ".
He had to get the German people hepped up in order to follow him blindly. The whole world was in the greatest depression ever known. People were starving. Hitler needed some thing to blame for all of the misery. He choose the Jews.
The Jews were causing no trouble of any kind, but they just happened to be there, and Hitler needed them. The Germans were the super-race destined to rule over all of the inferior people. The Germans were descended from the Aryans, according to Count Antoine de Gattineau. Why shouldn't they rule the world ?
So now Germany is no longer a country of super people. Hitler went down in disgrace, a suicide. His sub-human Jews are doing quite well. They made a country that stands out as a shiny jewel surrounded by countries that are a thousand years behind the times.
So now the Muslims are copying Hitler. It's the fault of the Jews all over again. Can't any one learn from history. The Muslims are following the path of Hitler, and will end up like Hitler.

No, Hitler was delusional and wrote his own book and said that jews did not fit the profile of the kind of person he felt would be aryan enough for him. That is a simplistic answer to what he wrote in his book Mein Kampf.
Jews at the time of Hitler were prosperous, and I think he deliberately created a struggle

Lots of theories as to why he did it.
1.) His mother died in the care of a Jewish doctor.
2.) His father was Jewish and he resented the fact.
3.) He was obsessed with works by Wagner which led him to believe the superiority of the Aryans.
Wholesale genocide is never justified.

he was crazy... jealous....weak....lots of things.
i don't know much about his life, but in no way was his act justified.
in a nutshell, he was jealous that many Jewish people were in high positions, many were smart, many were Very rich, and becoming powerful. it was a # of things, but he felt that as a Race it was unfair that they had some kind of "upper hand" and didn't deserve it..which is BS because if they worked hard for that power, it is that person's achievement, not just because they were Jewish. but anyways, Hitler felt useless, weak, even though he had high hopes for himself. instead of continuing to work on his own success, he was convinced that the jewish people were stealing HIS ability for success...and wanted to eliminate them as a race.
crazy, scary, a monster.... had no clue that a human life is the same as his own life, a human.

hitkler never orderd the jews to b killed it was his second in command or what ever hes called well hitlers step brother was killed by a jew so hitler orderd that all jewish people should have all there property destroyed but his second in command went a step further and started killing them all
