There is nothing wrong with male or female partners in a relationship masturbating whether their partner is away or not. Masturbation is quite normal...sometimes a person may get the urge and their partner isn't available...sometimes a person may get the urge and their partner doesn't want to or is unable to perform...sometimes a person may get the urge and just want to climax quickly, and not feel like having intercourse or making love...
It's all good...and the other person in the relationship should not feel as though their partner doesn't want them, doesn't care about them, or that they don't satisfy their partner properly...usually, the reason for masturbation isn't about any of those things...

Yes this is normal. You are human and if you are lucky enough to have a sex drive then you do what you want. If this seems to take away from your desire for your mate then cut back but I personally feel that if you get horny when you person is not there with you then have a crack at it. If more people would do this I do believe there would be a lot less bitching in the world. And less of a need for xanax.LOL

this is such an age-old question.. its perfectly 'normal' to masturbate when in a healthy (and sexual) relationship whether their partner is away or not.. the chances of you and your partner having the same level of sex drive is pretty slim.. some people are more highly sexed than others and masturbation offers a sense of relief. its not being unfaithful, or wrong.

masturbation is normal....as long as it is not taking the place of your partner. It is normal when a male or female masturbates in private. And it is normal for a male or female to masturbate in front of their partner....

It's healthy to be independant within a relationship. To care for yourself. To take responsibility for yourself. To be and feel a whole person on your own and not wrap up your entire identity in your relationship or partner.. So the answer is a resounding YES! You are your own person and your sexuality belongs to you. You can share it with your partner, but it is 100% yours.

Of course it's normal, but you don't have to be awau from your partner to masturbate. My husband and I love to watch each other masturbate. A healthy relationship means being able to talk openly to each other about all aspects concerning sex.

Masturbation is sometimes a sign of a HEALTHY relationship. They may be waiting to be alone because that is what makes them feel comfortable. I personally would rather have my gf there. ..

Yes it is normal. It just means that they feel the urge and need to satisfy themselves. It's better than going out there and cheating on their partner.

Nothing wrong with masturbation. I would rather know my husband is taking care of himself with his 4 fingers and mr thumb then him going out having sex with another woman.
