my bff is an amazing writter. she writes storys, poems, and sometimes songs. they are realy good but she wount show them to any one els but her closest friends. how can i get her to read them to a publisher or some one like that?????

if she is not ready to share her stories with the world yet, then she shouldn't have to... if and when the time is right, then she will. they are her stories and she should be the deciding factor as to whether she wants to share them with the public, not her friends.

You can't. Some writers write for themselves and don't feel the need to be published.

why don't you secretly submit one of her stories for her? maybe she's just afraid she'll get rejected. If nothing comes of it, no harm done, and if she's excepted, - great! Good luck!

p.s.
tell her if she becomes a successful author though, you want a percentage for getting her started!! lol!!

It is not for you to decide when.
She will do it when she is ready.
I have written poetry and I have never been published.
My family can decide what to with my writings when I move on from this world

hmmm that sounds like something she will have to decide. encourage her to share her gift with the world!!!
maybe her words & thoughts could inspire someones life in more ways than she knows. . .

do not push. keep building them up and eventually they will do it themselves, maybe.
