I keep on trying to but i can't figure out how to get it to run... i need a step by step description as to how to download it... i got to the point where i click on the download button on the internet page but after that it says taht the program i am trying to download is an application and do i want to continue... i click yes... then when it finishes i cna't open it... and it is really starting to get frustrating cause i've never used a mac before and neither has my dad and he always helps me with all of my computer problems...

Well, if the Limewire installer is a .dmg file, this is a disk image and you should just be able to double-click it to open. If it's a .sit file, this is a compressed StuffIt file (for a long time this was the compressed standard for Mac like a .zip file) and you need to download and install StuffIt Expander from Alladin Software (I believe -- do a web search for StuffIt). After installing StuffIt, just double-click on the file, expand it, and then you'll probably see the .dmg disk image that's the actual installer.

You're downloading the Windows version. Download the Mac version.
