I would not do that! I know from experience that Retin A drys the skin and will make it peel. NO WAY!

Go to the store and get aloe gel. Put it in the freezer for 30 minutes. Put that on the sunburn. Then put the gel in the frig to keep it cold. Re-apply as needed.

No, definitely don't apply Retin A Cream to sunburn. Wait till it is fully healed before resuming use of the Retin A. It will just irritate the skin even more and delay healing, leaving it red and peeling and very uncomfortable. Retin A should not be used on broken, irritated or infected skin.

Until the sunburn has healed, I'd suggest using a good, hydrating moisturizer with soothing and anti-inflammatory agents, such as zinc, aloe vera and vitmain e.

And next time, please make sure you wear a high factor sunblock. You should not be out in the sun without protecting your skin, when using Retin A, as it makes the skin more sensitive and prone to damage from uv rays. HTH.

Can it? Yes.

The more important question is "Should it?", which gets a hearty No. Retin A will irritate the skin while it is still healing from the burn. Unless you want to make the burn worse, I would hold off on applying your skin treatment until after it has healed.

Retin A can cause peeling. You probalby need to get something
a bit more gentle for sunburn.

No! It dries your skin and what your sunburned skin needs is moisture - try lotions or aloe.

Also, it's particularly bad if you're going back in the sun as it can make you more sun sensitive.

It might burn. I suggest waiting 'til your skin heals.
