I'm not sure if this is a habit, but I've always had to cover all the way up to my neck when I go to bed, I'm not sure why, but I get kind of frightened even if my foot pokes out from underneath the sheet.

I cover up like that too, but it's because it is always cold in my house. Hmm, I take a shower in the morning and in the evening, and sometimes in the middle of the day. But that's mostly because I work outside and am always sweating through shirts. I usually will go through 4 shirts a day.

Yeah...i'm like that too. Even when it's 90 degrees in my room...and when I wake up, my covers are all off! Even when I turn the fan on because it's SO hot in my room, I MUST be covered when in bed.Even when I'm bathed in sweat because i've got blankets on me and it's hot! IF I find a body part poking out from under the sheets, I quickly yank it back under. It's like the blanket(s) will sheild me from some aweful thing. I don't know. It' the same with my turtle; i don't know. OH, here's another one. I have this stufffed turtle...I've had him since i was 10. I've slept with him since then too. Still do.....18 years later. I'm actually sad when I can't find him...and I look for him everywhere and pray that I do find him. When i do, i'm happy. Yes, I say him...not it. "It" is a light blue turtle, which has black eyes, and a pink shell...the shell is divided into quarters, aternating quarters are dark pink, alternating quarters are light pink. Yes...I named "it". I named "it" a boy's name. I named "it" after a teenage mutant ninja turtle. He is eighteen years old...and still sleeps with his mommy! "It" is an inanimate object, but now u see how I personified it at the tender age of 10, and still continue with it. No. I don't think it's real...but I do feel safe when I curl up with him in my bed under the covers. I'll probably give "it" to my kid when i get married and have one...but until then...he's mine. Weird huh? ARe u happy? Now I sound weird...in a bad way! ='( I'm afraid of the dark too(ie..can't sleep with the closet door open. Oh, I've got OCD when it comes to checking if I locked the front door..or if I just used an appliance...have to see if it's off..Must make sure! I'm weird in a good way...i swear! I probably have many more...but that's for a later question of similarity.

i feel exactly like that!! and i can't let my feet hang off the bed at night, and even if it's really hot, i'll still get under the sheets just cuz i have a fear or something. um... i've got alot of weird things. i don't know if i could name them all though. everytime i go to the bathroom, i lift up the toilet seat and look underneath before i use it. oh, and my friend said i look like i'm having a seizure cuz when i sit still for a while, my legs just start bouncing up and down like i'm excited or something, and then i'll get a song stuck in my head and just start headbanging automatically. and when i was a kid i swear i had OCD although no one else think so. one of the things i did was if i was writing on a peice of paper, and all but one word in a sentence fit on a line and that one word was going to have to sit all alone on the next line, i would either move a word from the above line down, or add an extra word in there just to keep it company.

Well, till I was in my late thirties I couldn't get to sleep unless I had a little bit of the bedclothes wrapped right around my head - in retrospect I think it was a combination of, as a child, not wanting to hear my parents arguing, plus fear of spiders running across me while I was sleeping.

The spider thing has stayed with me to an extent - but I think I finally got cured of it in 1996 when I lived in a house with so many spiders in it that I was (as in behavioural therapy!) involuntarily flooded with them - I found myself one night looking at a huge one and thinking, I just can't be bothered being frightened of you!!!

I also don't like having my feet outside the bedclothes - mostly through having always lived with cats - they like nothing more than to jump up and bite your big toe when you are fastest asleep! But there's also I think a little bit about being frightened of ghosts. Silly really, as I'm not even sure I believe in them, but for some reason feet - and arms, too - out of the bedclothes feel to be the most likely targets for them!

1. I have to cover half of my face, and have my feet out of the blankets when I sleep.

2. When i ever eat like onion rings i have to take the breading off, so i eat the onion inside of it.

3. I like eating in the car, so if my boyfriend and i go out to get something to eat to bring back home, i already have ate it.

4. I eat hot sauce with EVERYTHING, i could eat it by itself.

I don't think these are weird habits but everyone i know thinks so.

Yeah, you think that's a strange habit/quirk... I can't hang my feet over the side of the bed... and I can go to sleep with my closet door open. That and, when I eat I always turn whatever I'm eating into a sandwich.

As a kid I would refuse to allow my hands or feet to hang off the edge of the bed. My belief was that the skeletons under my bed would grab my wrists or ankles and pull me under and I would never be able to return home.

i have a similar ''issue'' while sleeping- i have to have my toes covered at all times. not with socks, with a blanket or under a pillow or even under my girlfriend's feet. the same goes for my fingers, i stuff them under my pillow and squeeze them into a fist. this is just the beginning of all of the wacky things i feel that i NEED to do in order to make it through the day. what it all comes down to for me is O.C.D.

yes i do have strange habits but i prefer to call them quirks.
i boil the kettle trice before i make coffee... else it just doesn't taste the same to me.

it's a good idea to keep your feet covered lest some horrible
bug tries to bite it.

keep it up.
