ok im looking for one of my friends; we used to be neighbors but we both moved away. if i know his old house address and i send a letter there, will it get sent bk to me w/ a forwarding address?

Possibly. If the family left a forwarding address.

I will either get sent to the new address with a sticker telling them to inform people of the change, or it will get sent back saying the person no longer lives there. I don't believe they will send something back to you with the new address.

It depends on the post office where he lived, whether the mail carrier delivers it, and what the people do who live at that address with it when they get it.

You can try after all, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

no. it will either get sent back as it was, or will get forwarded to him at his new address. hope it helps.

Maybe, it depends on how long it has been and if he left a forwarding address. If you know his full name...do a search for on whitepages.com...Maybe something will come

no, it might get sent to him if he moved very very recently from that address. If its been awhile, your just screwed.

no it wont it might get back to the friend you are looking for ... that is IF they had their mailing address changed to their whereabouts now.... give it a shot!!!

if it isn't answered by the new tenants then it will be returend, sorry, but sometimes is better to fail at the most direct option and ventuer into more complex ones
