Fighting Back

Con artists are clever and cunning, constantly hatching new variations on age-old scams. Still, skeptical consumers can spot questionable or unsavory promotions in email offers. Should you receive an email that you think may be fraudulent, forward it to the FTC at spam@uce.gov, hit delete, and smile. You'll be doing your part to help put a scam artist out of work.

yahoo cannot do anything for you here.... This sounds like a scam letter, or phishing scheme. About the only thing you can do is keep on deleting them (also, hitting the spam button, so these letters go into your spam folder).

If you have received a phishing email asking you to verify and/or provide information regarding your Yahoo! account, please forward the email to mail-spoof@cc.yahoo-inc.com. We will investigate the email and take appropriate action.

If you have received a phishing email referencing a non-Yahoo! website, email address, or service, we encourage you to report such incidents to the appropriate provider or company involved. They will be in a better position to take appropriate action. You may also wish to report the phishing email to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by forwarding it to spam@uce.gov.

Finally, for additional information and tips on protecting your information online, please visit the Yahoo! Security Center and the FTC's Identity Theft web site.

It's just a scam and if you just ignore them they will quit sending stuff to you. Not many places to ask for help about these people .
