Alot of misinformation given here.

When you join as an AVON rep you are paid solely on commission according to the amount of product you sell every 2 weeks. When you start, you are guaranteed 50% commission on your sales (all core products, 20% on AVON giftables, apparrel, & some jewelry) for the first 2 months as long as you place your order online.

After this time you earn 20% minimum with a $25 order, & up to 50% with a $1550 order, or anywhere in between 30%, 40%, 45%. You are given an intial credit limit, so when you place your first order, you do not have to pay up front, rather it is shipped to you on that credit.

You then deliver the orders, collect the money, & at this point you have your money (earnings) in hand & the money you owe AVON for the products you have received. You pay AVON the amount they invoice you, (they break down the earnings percentage for you), the amount you have left is your earnings.

There are NO quotas, NO minimums ever. If you decide the AVON opportunity is not right for you at anytime, as long as your account balance is paid to a zero balance, your account automatically closes once you have not placed an order for 4-6 weeks.

There IS money to be made with AVON sales & AVON leadership, which is another opportunity AVON offers; you build a downline (recruiting, helping others start their own AVON businesses) of which AVON pays you a seperate income & this is where the REAL money is at!

If you would like more information from someone in your local area or would like an appointment to start, you can follow the link below & submit your information securely & confidentially. It is only $10 to join which gets you all your starting materials/brochures for the first month. Currently AVON is also offering bonus cash & incentives & there really is NO better time then to become part of a company 120 years STRONG then now.

Hi.. the way it works with Avon is you get a commission depending on how much stuff you sell. You get 10-40% depending on how much stuff you sell for a campaign. There are 18 campaigns per year, meaning 18 brochures per year.

You get 10% for $115, 20% for $210, 30% for $310, etc all the way to 50% if you sell more than $1630 per campaign.

I have been doing Avon for a year now, but not much luck. The market is saturated as so many people have been doing Avon, some more than 10 years. The area where I live there are 2 people in my apartment block doing it, and around 20 people living nearby. I don't have much chance of getting new customers, as everyone is already 'taken' by exisiting Avon representatives.

Good luck and hope you enjoy it - remember you will get more commission if you sell beauty products such as makeup, fragrance and bath products.

You sign up to sell Avon and get a kit filled with your first brochure, samples and some full size products and you start going out, passing out the books and collecting orders. You have a set date that your order has to be in by, you turn it in over the computer or in a drop box and get your order within about 4 days. You collect your money when you deliver your orders. Pay Avon the amount that is owed and you keep the rest. The difference is your commission. It works out real well. Good luck. My email is missygeni@pcsca.com if you need any more info.

If you have the time(8 to 10 hours aday) you can make money at it.You will have to get out and do door to door sales. You bye all your catalogs / samples that you hand out for free. Some of the people you sell to change there minds after ordering it for them, or cant pay for it till payday. So you need to ask for the cash up front before ordering it. Some things you cant return to Avon for credit once you get it, and u must sell it to get your money back. Don't leave catalogs in company lunch rooms without asking the company first, Big NO NO. IF your going to just sell to friends in your block, it would be best to bye it from Avon rep who travels all over the city, because you need 300+ customers to pay for your gas-car maintenance-etc,. Don't forget you have to show what you made as income to the IRS. A good sales person can do it but its a lot of work till you get your customer base up.
