im 14 am i already supposed to have part of a mustache?

Not really related to age. Nature has thrown the switch, and yer growin up, dude! Recommend electirc razor until it becomes thicker, then switch to blades. Congrats, you da man, now!

Yes, you are. But I was about that age I preferred to shave because my hair did not cover cover my face. I wasn't one of those guys that just wanted to shave to be more grown up. I couldn't stand to leave the hair grow on my face, because it was black hair and it was still patchy. Letting it grow would have made me seem immature and also lazy (for not shaving). Now my facial hair looks more mature, so I don't make a big deal out of shaving all the time. Shaving is a real annoyance, you know. The thrill wears off when you get to the point where you HAVE to shave to keep a clean face.

Not necessarily--in my teen experience, only about 20% of the guys in my class started shaving that early and actually had something to shave. Guys that are fair-haired, or have parents that are, generally sprout facial hair later. I started shaving my upper lip at 13, only a couple of other guys in my class were growing hair then--and sideburns. Some guys did not start shaving in real life (of course they said they did, us hairy ones called them skin scrapers) until they were almost seniors.

yes yourgoing through that stage where your body starts changing and yes all guys go through it its just life sometimes it just happens a little bit earlier for some guys
