For Superman Returns Trailer 1, there is a song played, its instrumental, and it seems kinda along the lines of the theme song, but its not. What is it? its not on the soundtrack.

Its called, "The Planet Krypton", as originally written and conducted by John Williams from the original soundtrack to "Superman: The Movie". (1978)
Thats my favorite trailer of all. When Marlon Brando finishes with, "thats why ive sent them you..........my only son", and The Man of Steel flies toward earth.
Gave me goosebumps the 1st time i saw it! Good question.

The one from the tv spot is called The Rescue, by American Hi-Fi.
