When there is an accusation no one ever asks the guys side of the story; they just believe the girl and assume the guy is bad. There are alot of psycho women out there but no one ever stops to think about that. I am all for women having equal and fair rights but lately it seems as though our country and the world is going anal retentive. Free speech and the necessity of evidence really seems to be gone now. It really makes me angry.

You know I feel you and I am a female
I don't think it is fair and a lot of women leave things open or will giggle at one dude saying something inappropriate then get upset when someone less desirable say or do the same thing. I say if they (men) had mini recorders you should hear some of what these women talk about themselves. No wonder these men feel comfortable to talk to them this way. Women that are in a bad situation can be heard but those are some of us that are just crying wolf. This is the reason why so many rape victims get beat up on the stand - what were you wearing what type of lipstick was your hair done, watch man give it a minute they gonna do the same with the sex harassment (office relationships are nothing more than consensual sexual harassment)

It is a sad truth.

I think there are a lot of guys who feel sexually harrassed who wouldn't say anything cause it wouldn't me macho to complain about it. Also I think the women who cry sexual harassment most of the time are reacting to the littlest thing that means nothing do a guy so the guy would be less in tune to notice something is wrong.

You also have to consider the idea that truth is an exention of perception and perception is realative to the person. One person would consider something sexual harassment while another wouldn't. Neither is wrong.

Honestly in todays sue happy society the honest person is the one that is always going to be hurt. Hypothetically there could be a woman bending over to pick up some papers that she dropped and a man comes from around the corner, never seeing the woman at all, and have his hand brush her ***. Here he man would be at fault and if the woman wanted to cry sexual harassment the guy would be in trouble. Granted there are times when sexual harrassment claims are very valid and should be handled swiftly and approriatly, but i have bore witness to some awful sexual harrassment claims that make me want to puke.

All in all we need to stop trying to be so PC and proper and just get back to the point of trying to get the job done and do it well.

In this world of Political Correctness, Males get the sh&t end of the stick. I detest women in the workplace.. It is a real pain in the butt to watch everything you say for fear of litigation because of something you say or might say.
Women bosses tend to look out for other women, and woosie boy bosses tend to look out for c&nts as well.
Women tend to be believed in Sexual Harassment charges over the man because they generally are a lot more conniving and underhanded about dealing with people then are men. Men are generally straight forward and blunt.. Women whine about how they have been mistreated and katy bar the door the lawsuits fly.

I luckily work in a department with all men, My direct manager is a man, I hope to not ever have to report to another woman in my life and if I do it will be short lived. I'd sooner slop hogs for a living then work with a woman.

It's called poor investigation. Sexual harassment is a pattern of behavior, or an act, that is patently sexual used to create an atmosphere of intimidation. The woman bears some responsibility in these situations. If you have been told that something that is said, or done makes someone uncomfortable -- such as jokes, items displayed in the workplace, or touching in a nonsexual part of the body -- than you've been warned. If you ignore her requests, you are in violation. If she did not put you on notice, it is baseless. Unless it is patently sexual -- kissing, groping -- you should have nothing to worry about.

I, for one, would certainly want to hear the guys side also.

The problem is both sides are going to tell different story, and human nature being what it is we tend to think the worst about people, especially since sexual harassment really does happen so much.
