Probably not. Most artist only make 2 or 3 cents off each album sold. So if he sold 1 million albums he only made $20,000.

Singer/rappers make money from touring they average $10,000-$50,000 per show and do 200+ shows a year. which is 2-10 million dollars a year in touring.

The problem is that they pay for all there stuff while on tour--the bus, the food, the liquor and anyone else working for them.
