i have a couple of friends who listen to country radio stations. i cant concentrate on the music when its on a station like that because its one song after another, and they all sound the same. but i actually like country a little bit (certain songs). if im listening to a station with other styles of music mixed in with country, i can keep myself concentrated on it.
anyone else feel the same?

No, hon, I don't feel the same as you, because I can't stand it AT ALL! I live in Texas and everywhere you go [grocery stores, restaurants, shops, and blaring from peoples' car stereos] you are enudated with it and it ςμқς!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I find these people very disrespectful and their music REPULSIVE!
really, I may be a ''fuddy-dud'' or βίтсн, but I think ANYONE who imposes their music on the whole of society is GROSSLY selfish/inconsiderate!

I understand how you feel. But I can't say I feel the same about Country music cause thats the kind of music I grew up with so I am addicted to it. I can say I feel the same way about Rap and all that kind of music. I can't stand it cause they repeat themselves so much you get it stuck in your head. Then it gets on your nerves even more. But I love country and some of the songs they play on the Mix radio station.

Yes, I guess it's just a matter of taste. I think alll country songs sound the same one right after another, but I like rap music and my Dad says he doesn't see how I can listen to it because it all sounds the same to him.

I hate it! But I don't put anyone down because they like it. Everyone is entitled to their own opionion. What a boring world this would be if everyone liked only one thing! I just had an E-mail from some guy who said "Green Day sucks and you suck because you like them!" How narrow minded! (Probably a country music lover! lol)

About them all meaning the same thing, yes. The concentration part? No. Unless everyone's trying to get your attention when you're trying to listen to the song.

Top 40 country pretty much sucks, but there's a lot of good underground stuff out there.

yeah, i can only take it in small doses and only certain songs. I couldn't listen to it all day.
