At the very least there should be a noise ordinance in traffic and at stop lights. And if the lyrics are lewd or incite violence, it should also be against the law. It could cause harm to others and if indeed that's so, it would not fall under the protection of the First Amendment.

I'll be a devils advocate. The only GOOD white rappers were (IMO) were eminem and the beastie boys. BB fell of and emeinem quit tryin( last album sucked), so yeah with that track record....BAN EM ALL

juuuuust an opinion , and i'm not a racist, so keep all the race thang out of it. i love everybody. but rap music is the enemy, and i wish we could kill it. it seems to have a dumbing-down effect on the people who listen to it, like it removes i.q. points as time goes by.it simplifies everything into it's basest, simplest-thinking terms, and then monotonizes it into their poor brains. boom-boom-smack!ba-boom-boom-ba-smack!
