It is not your cervix, it could be your mucus plug, or it could be a infection, you should defintly call and ask your doctor. Good luck and congrats. BTW my email is maryanntiller@yahoo.com let me know when ur due because I am almost 38wks and I am due September 19th let me know. Thanks bye.

your body as you know goes completly insane while you are preg.
but it could be a lot of things excess calcium, youre not drinking enough water, or a number of other things maybe even UTI which i kept for a soild nine months! And also yeast infections. So the best thing to do is ask the doc! But im sure its nothing to worry about!

Actually, I have noticed that throughout my pregnancy (I am 30 weeks now..)
Recently, tho, it has gotten more frequent. I don't think it is a piece of cervix. :o)
I am not sure what it is, but I have a feeling it has to do with discharge. I asked my OB, and they agreed. They said so long as nothing is pink, red, or brown, it is okay. But since you are nearing full-term, and already started to dilate, you may just want to call and ask..

It probably is mucus plug. Give a call to the advice nurse just to make sure.

It's not your cervix. It's most likely your mucus plug coming out in pieces.

I've had the same thing happen all through pregnancy this time (i am 36 weeks along now) Didn't have it with my first sone. My OB said its just extra "secretions" due to pregnancy and nothing to worry about.

If you are dilating a centimeter and having mucous discharge you should probably get off the internet and prepare for birth.
Although I am a man I have been through my wifes and daughters experiences nine times.

Little dried pieces of mucous.
Can be from the plug, but often just dried discharge.
Good luck!
