how long did you bleed (lochia) postpartum with a C-section?

because i had bleeding for about 2 weeks and a half and then just discharge. I'm 5 weeks pp and i started bleeding again. could this be my first period after pregnancy?

It's been so long I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly but I think about 2 weeks. It was similar to a heavy period at first then tapered down to pink discharge. Check out the link for more info.

2-3 weeks then a period at 5-6 weeks.

Different women bleed different amounts of time. I bleed for about 3 weeks lightly. I had a bleeding problem though during pregnancy

4 nearly 5 weeks i was stopped for a week and then started my first period the morning of my 6 week check up

I bled for 3 days after my c-section and 2 weeks later I was bleeding again it was my period! and it was bad. So it can happen and I was breastfeeding no formula, so i was just SOL

2-3 weeks. It sounds like your having your first period. Keep track.

Vaginal bleeding 3-5 wks is common
If you are bleeding from the incision this is bad and needs attention.
