Are you kidding? Even Chandler could kick Ray's ***.

I thought "Friends" got a little stale with the Ross-Rachel relationship in all its permutations, and also found it impossible to believe that anyone as dumb as Phoebe could use a blow dryer with electrocuting herself -- much less survive for a day in the big city.
"Raymond," on the other hand grew from a standard-grade domestic comedy into a work of brilliance during its nine-season run, allowing the characters just enough evolution to keep them interesting. Plus, I think the show was utterly perfectly cast ... they work together so well that reruns remain a delight.
Both were terrifically entertaining during first-runs, but "Raymond" will live on in syndication much longer than "Friends" due to the timelessness of its themes. Friendships come and go, but family is forever ... whether we like it or not!

Raymond. He is was funnier than Joey or Chandler or anyone from friends. Raymond can relate to real life in my opinion way better than Friends. But for the side of Friends, I liked their finale better.

I actually enjoyed both, but I am actually enjoying Raymond now more. Both had clever casts but I can relate to the environment of Raymond's family. His parents seem like mine to a degree lol

well its hard to say cuz they both have such totally different content...everybody loves raymond was about a family while friends was about a bunch of single people living a big city...they both were great shows and the writing was great in both...I wish and hope that they have really great shows like them again.
