Eat as much natural food as possible. By this I mean unprocessed, organic if you can afford it. Eat as many different foods as you can, and with vegetables eat them raw or lightly cooked if possible. Eat lots of fruit. Avoid alcohol like the plague.
Try to avoid raw eggs and unpasturised milk. This can most often be found in cheeses, unfortunately all the good ones from France and Greece especially.
Asking this question now suggests to me you are going to be a great mum!!! Well done.

Basically you should try to make sure your eating from the proper good groups (like we all should even when we're not pregnant---oops!) But basically make sure you are getting at least 3 servings of calcium (yogurt, milk, etc) and then fruits and veggies. I found that making a fruit smoothie in the morning and then drinking juice, etc throughout the day made getting everything I was suppose to eat alot easier. Then you aren't absolutely stuffed, but you still get all your nutrients. Congrats!

I am 9 months pregnant. The food I ate the most was fruit, and carrot sticks. They are very healthy.

Pick up the book "What to Eat When You're Expecting" it breaks everything down for you... Make sure you get plenty of veggies, whole grains, lean meats...

orange juice(high in folic acid), fresh veggies, fresh fruits, lowfat milk, water, lean sources of protein, prenatal vitamins with iron. Don't forget to stay as active as possible(nothing jarring). It helps your body in delivery and bouncing back quicker.
