cannot go back to the seller since I ordered it online. The webcam doesn't even have a namebrand, so i cant even go on any website. Also, there is nothing detecting that it is attached to the computer, just the first time it said that there is a new equipment but i tried it again and it didnt seem to detect it again. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you all in advance!!!

ok ! first uninstall it from control panel
second shut down p.c
third plug web-cam in
fourth restart p.c
During the re-boot it will recognise new hardware and display the info near the clock, see if you can jot it down.
Allow windows to search for the drivers ...if it cant find them tell it to search the Internet for them.
hope this helps

go back to the website wehere you got it, sometimes they have the drivers there, or take the base off and look for numbers, search online for these numbers and it might find the model and drivers for you. Where di you get it, I might ban go there and figure it out for you.
