I say if all the spouses agree, what is the big deal?

Why did I get a thumbs down? Wouldn't you like to have multiple spouses?

Having multiple spouses is called polygamy. I don't believe it's wrong morally...to each his own, right? However, when it comes to tax & health benefits, I do feel it's too complicated on an administrative level to have multiple spouses to keep track of.

So I think it'd be fine if a polygamist married one person in the legal system, but then a hand-fasting or another personal ceremony for the other spouses.

The crime is polygamy and the religion is Mormonism or something like that, it is the same religion as the Osmond Brothers are.

It is called "polygamy". When you have one spouse, it's called "monogamy".

The Mormon church did condone polygamy in the early years, but not anymore. There are stories of some individuals of Mormon faith who still practice polygamy, but it certainly is not true of most Mormons.
