I like to buy good seafood, not the stuff at the grocery stores (Kroger/HEB etc)

We love Fiesta off of Bunker Hill and I-10.
It has a very high turnover of seafood and a very wide selection.
Crowded on weekends.

Galveston has two great ones where the cruises leave. Two tiny shops to the right of the ships. They can even give you hard to find fish like Lemon Fish whiich I have never seen before.

Only but live fish at the Asian markets. I go there a lot but am really not impressed. Fung's Kitchen is a restaurant off of 59 near Bellaire that has live seafood normally not available it the States...

There are several- there is one off of 610S and Stella Link
Check the yahoo yellow pages under fish markets in Houston, Texas there is a whole bunch of them.

Texas City, Sea Brook area for fresh fish near the gulf.

Otherwise...check the small local Asian grocery stores. They usually have fresh fish coming in.
