What is wrong with being gay?
Why not say he was converting to Islam or had taken up smoking or dropped out of school.

Why would being "strict" make a difference? The only way it would matter is if they're homophobic.

YES YES YES it would!!!!!!if the kid was your mate though and things got cleared up or it would be awesome if he was homophobic it would teach him a life lesson, so really it would be almost cruel if u didnt........
