How much do you need job security? If money is very important to you, stay where you are. Otherwise, do what you love. Happiness does not equate with money. Best wishes. I know this is a difficult choice.

You should do both. I do nt like my full time job, but I am staying until I have made the same income for the months in a row, with my home business. Then, I will quit my job. The company I work with stresses the importance of staying with your job. I say stay with your job!

Only you can answer this question. Would it help if you set up your business and ran it part-time at first, to build up clientele before you decide whether to quit your current job?

Another option is to live frugally while you save up enough money to get you through your first year or two.

Good luck!
