Sky News is a tabloid joke. Over the top graphics, sound effects and studio. Sensationalist heavlines like "CARROTS ARE ORANGE: ARE WE ALL GOING TO DIE?" and adverts.

BBC news is not biased. People that accuse other of biase are ALWAYS biase in the other direction, imposing their warped viewpoint onto neutral objects, always seeing those not explicitly with them as against them. BBC news is by far the best news in the world although even it is starting to slide into sensationalism at times and pandering to trends. Do we really need a reporter on location for EVERY story?

Man's toilet smells:
"I am standing here outside the house of the man whos toilet smells"

And asking the general public yes or no questions on subjects they obviously have no clue about, and in an attempt to be fair they show an equal amount of yes and no answers so every question ends up in a meaningless 50/50 and 5 minutes of news time wasted.

BBC wins easily. If you like Sky news no doubt you always pick up a tabloid on your way to work.

BBC, Sky News reminds me of that program E!, when they get a big story they will broadcast it over and over and over......etc. They even find different ways of telling you the same news, for example using 'sky news flashes' at the bottom of the screen, you think something major has happened for it to be a flash but it always turns out to be something stupid like: 'M&S toilet paper prices have risen,' okay I am exaggerating but you get the point. However saying that the people on sky news are a bit more bearable to watch. I just stick to reading the paper.

The BBC's news service is far superior. If I wanted Rupert Murdoch's point of view, I would ask him. That goes for Fox News, The Times, The Sun and any other News Corp based news as well!

All I can say is that when there is a lot of spectacular news, such as the Gulf War, you cannot see the screen on Sky for all the horizontal news bars. Scrollers and breaking news, I once put the ruler up to the screen and there was less than half of the original picture. And!!!!! why oh why, when they show you a golf shot they completely obscure the moment with a scroller.

Sky News- they seem to be more objective. I get both here in the U.S. and find BBC to be rather stuffy.
Have a great day!!!
