Local channel, primarily on former WB channels. Some UPN channels will convert where there are no WB affiliates. As always, check your local listings...

It's going to be a new network on your local affiliate station, like NBC, CBS, and ABC, starting in September. Most of the current WB affiliate will be the new CW network while UPN affiliate will create a new network call My Network TV (the network number should be the local channel that is in). CW, as you said, is the combination of the former WB and UPN shows all in one network as a way to save advertisement money rather than compete against each other in the bottom two among Nielsen ratings every week. You can check out the inaugural fall schedule and the CW channel in your area at www.cwtv.com. My Network TV (which is still own by Fox Corp.) usually runs local programming with only two prime time show in their lineup, Desire and Fashion House, which runs six nights a week. Desire and Fashion House are based on the genre of telenovas, or Mexican soap opera. The first two show (the later, Fashion House, stars Bo Derek and Morgan Fairchild) will run in a 13-week cycle, which then will change into another unrelated series, much like how telenova works. Of course, more programming of the network are in development for the near future, as you can check out the network at mynetworktv.com. Hope that answers your question.
Fact: the new network, My Network TV, got it's name from a Fox Corp-owned website called MySpace.

I don't like local channels much except for maybe PBS. I usually watch cable: Cartoon Network(Adult Swim), Comedy Central, TNT/AMC for movies, WGN, TLC, Discovery, Animal Planet, and the History Channel. I like the show Scrubs a lot. So I'll tune in to whatever channel is showing it. Don't feature paying for HBO, Showtime, or any of the others. They charge too much for extended basic as it is.
