You are not dumb. PS can have various meanings depending on the context it is used. Before the age of computers people would use type writers. When they forgot to include something in the letter they were typing they would just include it after the complimentary close (ie after "Yours Truly etc) instead of doing over the letter and wasting time and paper or risk making more mistakes. In this case PS means Post Script because it was written after the body of the letter was completed.

With the computer age it is no longer necessary since you can edit/preview docs b4 u print them. I really admire people who are not afraid of saying that they dont know something. Keep asking questions. Thats what they are made for and thtas how you will learn.
