iraq and immigration

Yeah, it has to be the war in Iraq. But I'm not entirely sure that will be bad for the Republicans. They are already working on slogans like "cut and run" to describe the Democrats and are far better at slogans than the Democrats ever were, this has the making of another close one like the last two elections. Everyone remembers the first one against Al Gore. But others say the Kerry one wasn't that close, until you find out that again in Ohio voting irregularities similar to the ones in Florida and the fact that there is absolute proof that some of the ones who voted Democrat had their vote changed to Republican (and they had no paper proof to show that was what happened, only that they said in polls later that they voted Democrat, and when those polls completely mismatched the numbers that came out of the election), you see actually that Kerry won Ohio. And all the other state races were very close, which means it is possible that it was nearly 50% for both and maybe even Kerry winning.

Immigration. It's easy to get the send-em-home crowd riled up, while there aren't too many people saying we need more immigrants. Expect more posturing and no answers from the Republicans, and a horrible Democratic response to it. (Unless they can manage to divide the Republicans between the ones who liked Bush's speech on the topic, and the ones who think he was soft.)

The war is kinda played politically, there is enough blame and rhetoric to throw around that it just won't be the big deal it should be. People are just tired of hearing about it.

If the Democrats were smart, they'd focus on National Security. Emergency Preparedness. Other things that take care of business and the American people without sounding like 'giving my tax money to poor people'. But they aren't, so we'll be stuck with the Republicans again.

Illegal immigration.....it must be addressed and not by a blanket amnesty, strengthen our borders ,enforce our laws and locate, and deport all illegals .Close the anchor baby loophole and place the Army armed on our borders
Let the illegals see we are not going to allow this criminal act any longer. You people talk about terrorist ,if all theses illegals get across our borders and live here undetected for years why cant the terrorist do the same thing? Why cant they enter with weapons etc. Think out of the damn box look at the big picture, its not about race as they want you to believe its about protecting our sovereignty's as a nation.if you aren't a terrorist them come here via the legal route, what are you hiding?.

The war in Iraq can be ended by a cease fire or a truce or by winning it,our threat to national security will come from within not from with out.
