We do.

1. Reform Military
2. Cut a bunch of funds flowing into the red states (farm subsidies and such)
3. Reform education so only those who can pass algebra 2 on a private educational level. Do away with liberal art majors
4. Force money to trick down the social class instead of the CEOS.

All of which the red states complain about. Especially because 2 and 3 would be detrimental for the red states, and 4 would annoy the hell out of the elite republicans (those who are manipulating you lesser ones).
