When he asks, "Will you marry me?," why don't you respond with, "Til death do us part." I think that's a very sweet and romantic way of capturing the feeling of "yes" and even moreso.

I have a friend that said yes just because her b/f put her on the spot in front of everyone and she didnt want to say no. They havent really planned anything yet except they thing they want to get married on 10/10/10 so they have a couple years to think it over... I think another reason she said yes is that they already have a 1 yr old daughter together

Well honestly all he needs is a yes. Thats what the wedding vows are for. But if you want to do something special write a poem or tell him that you are ready to pledge your life to him :)

The best answer, unfortunately for you, is "yes!". If there is a better answer, it is much less efficient, and therefore a waste of energy.
