refuse to give you 5 stars no matter how brilliant your answer was?

I have never given less than 5 stars. I pick it as best answer because I like it best, why wouldn't it deserve 5 stars? I guess not everyone feels the same!

It's a matter of perception. Most people, myself included, tend to perceive their answer as the best one and deserves nothing less than 5 stars. However, the asker may feel something is missing. example: Trivia questions. Say you get 10 answers to a question involving multiple answers. Say you get 9 out of 10 answers and are picked as best answer because everybody else got less. The asker might want to give 5 stars only if you get all 10 correct. I myself have done that. Nobody is saying your answer wasn't a great answer. In that case, just not worthy of 5 stars. Anyway, that's what I think.

I usually give 5 stars unless they didn't answer the question fully. Recently I've been getting just 3 or 4 stars on answers I thought were good! Don't know what the deal is.........

I thought of this the other day and when you scroll down to submit it it also scrolls down on the stars so I really think sometimes it is an error,I always give 5 stars,if I think its the best answer than it deserves 5 stars!!p.s sorry if I was rude to you one day,I was taking up for Serendipity,I did not know you were playing!!!
