me - books, papers, hair clips, a notebook, 2 pens, sunflower seeds, baked lays, 2 washcloths, aspirin, bills, a spare mouse pad that I use as a coaster, a cup to spit the shells, in a diet coke, tape, a candle, a broken locket, court papers, my cell phone....

on the Left --- a printer(out of ink) a clipboard with some papers -- 2 boxes from computer games -- a box from norton anti-virus -- a guiness book of world records -- in the Center -- the monitor and speakers and the keyboard -- to the Right -- the CPU - my mouse pad and mouse -- a small clock -- a small fan -- a empty phone holder --and the surge arrest power strip thing -- that's it -- just read your list -- using a spare mouse pad as a coaster is really smart -- I'm going to get my old one now and put it on the left side of my desk next tot the keyboard -- (later) add one mousepad/coaster to that list. Thanks for the idea :-)

Oh, NO! It is such a mess.
A can of Bud in a cooler sleeve, a coaster, my ashtray, cigs and lighter, slim jim, sharpies, highlighter, pens, calculator, bills, paperwork, stapler, envelopes, chap stick, Rolodex, tape dispenser, a stuffed black bear, a stuffed lamb, my remote, dog cookies, a tape recorder, my phone, my cell phone, Kleenex, score sheets from my daughter's twirling competition, and a cat toy.
I gotta clean this desk!

A roll of toilet paper (hehehehee), speakers, two mesh cups with pens and a pair of scissors in them, a 12oz glass, nail clippers, glasses case, old eyeglass lenses, cell phone, digital camera manual, empty coke can, colibri butane torch cigar lighter, bic lighter, wine cork, mouse, keyboard, watch without a strap, my everyday watch, cd-roms outside of case, cd-rom inside case, name badge from my summer job, automotive 30 amp and 15 amp fuses, external hard drive, mousepad, keychain, car emblems from my car, PCMIA tv-tuner card, pay stubs, guitar picks.

Im not at my desk right now and i dont exactly remember lol. Im on my laptop. But im sittin on the floor and surrounding me is a fan, my brother playin ps2, a couch, phone, and other things that would take a million yrs to say.

i have like 10 different folders, a calculator, my cell phone, my work phone, a stack of papers, a coffee mug, a thing of post-it notes, a stapler, a date stamper, a pencil/pen holder, a little fan, my car keys, a headset for answering phones at work, some computer speakers, ............and thats it.
