my ex who (ex fiancee) used to have multiply myspace accounts..and he has email accounts and different accounts in several instant messenger services. one time i caught him because a girl sent sms on his blackberry...he said he was just tripping on her for his ego or something..not necessarily those words but somewhat that context.
anyway we were together since 2002 and he broke up with me around 10 months ago but we still talk...always. i found out recently he made an awful myspace account asking women to sleep with him. his mom tells me hes just lonely because he is away and all that in a city where he doesnt have any friends. his sister tells me that he loves me.
i didnt "ask" them to tell me those things, its what they think. but personally after seeing that myspace account ...i finally got the slap of reality i thought i wanted (but obviously needed)
if anyone has an advice..please tell me. it was really awful and disconcerting
some people say that its nothing, its just myspace

Like some of the other answer-ers showed, different people have different ideas of what is or isn't cheating. But I think the way for most people to understand cheating is this, "would you do this is you knew your girlfriend/boyfriend were watching you invisibly (or on a camera or whatever). Yes he was cheating. Because whether or not he even met any of the girls, he was still cheating in his heart. If he wasn't cheating, well, he was at the least being unfaithful. Do you think he would have made the site if you were standing over his shoulder? no.

Don't be one of "those girls", c'mon, pick yourself up off the ground that he's just **** on and be an adult. If you must absolutely be an a relationship at all times - then go find a healthy one..
You can go 'round and around about how it's not cheating..
well it sure as hell isn't respectful.
Find your common sense and some good judgement and stop listening to his family who only have HIS best interest at heart.
He has an agenda..and you're only a little piece of it...
I truly think you're well capable (and deserving) of finding healthier friendships..don't you?

He is an idiot who needs constant validation for his penis. You are better off without someone who is such a child they have to feed their ego like that. He is a cheater or would cheat if given the opportunity. No, more than that, he actively seeks women to sleep with. And he was doing these things while you two were together? He doesn't love you, stay away from him.

Define "cheating"... Was he ever committed to you to begin with? What you're describing re. his myspace accounts and messages from women is not compatible with committment to a relationship, if this is what you're asking. Sounds like he misled you into thinking that you two were in a committed relationship, but continued to act like he was single - and you allowed it. I don't understand why you still keep in touch with him? What he's doing obviously bothers you. You're hung up on this dysfunctional relationship, and are not moving on. For your own sake, please consider severing ties with him; learn your lessons, and be ready when a good man comes along. It will be difficult to build a meaningful relationship with someone else while you're still dragging all this baggage around.

He was most likely cheating on you the whole time. You should try to cut him out of your life completely. A guy like that is not worth your time. And you should never be with someone who calls you an idiot for confronting them. That's just his way of getting out of lying to you. Which he was, is, and probably will continue to do.

Do you also consider flirting cheating? Going to a strip club, is this cheating? You have to decide for yourself what is acceptable to YOU and let him know. Then he has to decide if he is willing to accept it. WARNING! Guys have a strong desire to do things you tell them they can't do.

Not to be a total jerk... but why should you care anymore?? He's your EX! Let it go already and move on to someone who will treat you like you should be treated AND who won't do these things to stroke his ego, that's what he had you for!
Good Luck!
Aloha!
