Obviously sarcastic humor uses sarcasm, but can someone provide me with examples of that? And what makes a sense of humor dry?

A dry sense of humour is one that understates the joke, leaving it to the listener to see the funny side.

I think a person with a dry sense of humor is the type to say something really funny and not laugh because they don't even know they are funny but just serious. Except, to other people it's funny.
