Disadvantages:
-$$$$$
-we are staring to look into other planets when we dont know everthing about our planet
-many missions fail
-time
-many people get upset because of faith issues (finding life on other planets, discoving new facts like Gallaleo's Sun-in-the-middle of the solar system)
Advantages:
-we may find a new home out there
-may discover new techniques to study certain aspects of science
-we can start to develop ways to protect ourselves from cosmic damage
-we may discover new life
-we may answer many amny questions we have (Are we alone? Is there a real creator?)
-We can make FUTURAMA reality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is indeed great to work with some of the most advanced equipment in the world . U must stay focused on the problems at hand,not easily distracted . always looking for results and watching for side effects.
I am a retired N.A.S.A. trouble shooter . Traveled a lot , away from the family a lot .Walked around like little Gods but we got results .
U must be a good Eng. ,understanding communications,Timing,computers .
