Generally I think it's all legit. However, there is some awefully fishy stuff starting to come out that has been kept "secret" by the current administration.

I definately wouldn't put it past this President to fabricate the truth a little to make himself look better. God knows, he can't look any worse in the eyes of the public.

I've had a nagging feeling that our nation has been searching for an enemy since the fall of the Soviet Union, but I didn't think that even George Bush would sink so low as to attack our own people. . .

Until I heard that terrorists were plotting to bring components to make an unstable explosive that would take three hours under controlled conditions to make, and that these guys were going to do it mid-air. Maybe something got garbled somewhere between the discovery of the plot and the release of details to the press, but I hope I'm not expected to believe the story as I'm hearing it. It made me wonder again about the evil Militias that were suddenly a problem last decade in the US after the Oklahoma City bombing, the probability that four of the 9-11 suicide hijackers are alive and well, and a few other things. I'm still undecided, guess I just don't believe anything I hear anymore.

9/11 changed the way of life for not only Americans but for all the inhabitants of this planet in some way or the other. It did bring in a deep division between Muslim societies and Western democratic nations.

I do believe to a point that we American's had gotten too lazy and sure of ourselves. I was reading some John D. MacDonald quotes the other day and came across this one from 1979:

"Terrorism is going to pay us one fat bloody visit. But it will only be a visit. They underestimate our national resilience. Aroused by that kind of savagery, we will become a very tough kind of people."

Taken from the Green Ripper, 1979.

We all need to be careful, lest we forget!

9/11 was an attack on America by those who would see the destruction of a free society....and the 9/11 conspiracy theorists are NUTS!.
