Can anyone tell me anything about Deer Run Lake, located in Van Buren, MO?

Deer Run Lake is also the name of a reservoir
This area of MO is near Lake of the Ozarks...which is a summer fishing, boating, vacation spot for St Louis and Kansas City
The Ozark "mountains" are really big rolling hills..
Van Buren is a smallish country town that has a lot of services related to the lakes in the area
motels, boat rentals, fishing guides, etc etc etc
The area around Van Buren is pretty without being stunning
