I missed two days...i did what the packet told me to do (double up on the pills you missed) and i am sitting here 7 months pregnant!! Did this happen to anyone else?

i got pregnant on ortho tri cyclen-lo and i never missed a pill!!

Ortho made me depressed too! I never cry but I was crying all night on it at first after a while it wore off. No I have never been pregnant at least you know not to miss them until you WANT a baby!! Morning after pill is only good in the next two days, Geese you couldnt just wait????Sex Machine lol

Actually, if by "-Lo" it means a lower amount of the hormones, it is actually common for women to get pregnant on them, even without missing any. Usually, these pregnancies are naturally aborted because the lower dose of hormone just makes it harder for the fertilized egg to attach to the uterine wall, rather than keeping the body from releasing an egg to begin with.
Look into how your birth control works, ladies! Doctors aren't telling women enough about the different forms of birth control.

I take ortho but i havent missed any pills the reason this happen to you is you missed 2 doses missing one gives you a high risk.

No but I did get pregnant while taking birth control once and, I just did again after stopping it for 2 weeks. I believe you just answered one of my questions, thanks for telling that jerk that he needs to grow up. I hate men that have no idea what women go through and then make a rash comment like that. I have switched over to yasmine, I took ortho for many years, but I don't think it's that effective, obviously.

OMG!!!! Yes, I got a set of twins on those (I didn't miss any). My doc quit prescribing them because so many of his patients got pregnant. Congrats on the baby.

Oh soo sorry....MY DOCTOR said if you miss two days to start a new pack. Sorry I listen to my doctor not the actual package.

I was on it for years, never happened to me, I even skipped pills and then doubled up. good luck
