Why do you think Black Sabbath did do many cheesy acoustic instrumentals?

Laguna Sunrise, Orchid, Fluff, Don't Start (Too Late) were all pointless pieces on Sabbath albums. How the hell did the expect you to bang your head to those silly pieces???

But the stupidest Sabbath instrumental -- albeit not an acoustic one -- was F/X off of Vol. 4.

Well, I guess I'll give it a go. If you head bang all day you need something to smooth it out a bit at the end of the day. Don't you think? I mean something to help you mellow out before hitting the sack. Unless of course you'd just rather pass out due to a major brain hemorrhage from to much brain slingin'

I love thier instrumentals. I especially like how Embryo leads into Children of the Grave, then is followed by Orchid, nice naming theme. Orchid is simply great imo. One reason to put pieces like that on an album is to give your neck a chance to relax from headbanging to the preivous tunes lol. Also to show the musical abilities aside from the heaviness of the other tunes.

"Fluff"is a great tune. Maybe so many because what lyrics could possibly fit with Fluff?

All of those songs had lyrics that were supposed to be on the tracks but sadly Ozzie was passed out under a coffee table when they were cut.
