Have a sister who is retired with pension, health ins, bondable, good transportation, and thinking of one (both?) of these fields. What are some benefits as well as drawbacks to each profession and could someone manage to do both (PT) at the same time? Thanks.

I had no trouble getting a document notarized. While I was at the courthouse a lawyer that was also there did it for me (free). When I wanted to serve divorcing documents on my husband though I had to hire a sheriff to do it because he wasn't going to make it easy for me (I was going to get a friend to do it).

As most banks and many lawyers will notarize documents at no charge, it seems to me that it might be a bit difficult to make a living notarizing things. Process servers get paid fairly well.
