It's pretty obvious that skinny jeans look best on skinny girls.
But I saw pics of Lindsay Lohan (the new, not-anorexic Lindsay Lohan) wearing some and she looked good. I think we're probably around the same weight and height, she just has huger boobs. And maybe is an inch or two taller than me. anyways...
I am 5'5 or 5'6 and weigh 130.
(I should weigh 120, I am a little pudgy as of late, but I don't really mind) anyways...
Can I wear this season's skinny jeans (which I love the look of) or will they look silly on me because I have a little bit of meat on my bones and am sort of short?
Sorry my question has so many parts. hopefully it isn't confusing. Please don't bother with the question unless you have actual insight to offer.

Totally! of course! you don't have to weigh 80 pounds and be anorexic to wear skinny jeans! as long as you present yourself well in them and not act as if you are insecure about your weight in them you will look great.

Oh yes I agree with Judith. If you are 5'6" 130 Lbs. is a good weight for you. Wear what you feel comfortable in.maybe you will like the "skinny" jeans once you see how good you look in them, and after you hear a few compliments. By the way "huge" and "huger" are not words that should be used in reference to Lindsay Lohan's boobs, she's pretty small breasted.

I'm about the same height/weight as you are and the only way to wear skinny jeans is with a high heel. If you're shorter, skinny jeans are not flattering with flats. I would also pair it with a looser blouse on top so your legs look thinner in comparison. If the blouse is lower cut and a cute print, the attention with be up top and the affect should be cute. If you still aren't sure, bring an objective friend along when you go shopping who doesn't always tell you just what you want to hear....and keep her opinion in mind.

Jeggings are skinny jeans. Jeggings aren't leggings that have a denim color. They're real denim! You know how leggings are shape flattering tight? Well, jeggings are the same. They're simply a new name to call for skinny jeans, just like the way we call magazines mag or refridgerators fridge. Anyways, I think that jeggings are tighter then skinny jeans because they're almost like leggings except for their fabric. Hopedully, my reply will explicate your mind for a clear comprehension.

So long as the jeans aren't too tight in the waist, which then gives you a muffin top look, go for it. Nothing worse than girls wearing too small jeans that make them appear to have a gut.
You sound like a great size though. Please, just don't wear pants that are too small!!

Not a huge fan of skinny jeans, HOWEVER, I think that some people can pull them off with the right shoes. I like them with boots. Go for it, if you feel good, than no one else should care

u can wear them but since u say ur pudgy, u should wear longer flowing tops,i suggest those baby doll looking tops that flare out and make sure whatever shoes you wear look right with the pants falling over them

I am about your height and weight as well, and I think they look silly on me. I think you have to be tall and lean for the look to work. It is all about what you feel comfortable in though! I just don't want to contribute to that style coming back in after seeing how awful I looked in them.

Skinny jeans look best with tall boots. I can't get used to seeing them with ballet flats.....it looks wierd and every pic I see of someone with them on with ballet flats the girl has cameltoe. No offense to anyone. The Banana Republic Online site has some great pics of them with boots. Go for it girl!!

no matter what you choose to wear babe,jeans,skirts,dresses,thongs or suspenders ,the bottom line is always the same,it dont matter what we think but it does matter what you think,,if you dont feel comfortable in any clothes it will show and make your life a misery,,
the best way to explain this is to picture someone you know that wears ridiculous outfits but carries it off in their stride,, you will say to yourself i could not wear that under any circumstances,,
its all about confidence ,,if you feel sexy and confident people will see you as sexy and confident,,if you feel nerdish people will see you as nerdish,, judging by the stats you have provided you sound dammed pretty to me.. go out there babe and show them the real you..
