Ok to any one who had a miscarriage (are any one who knows) I had a miscarriage in June I have hade 2 periods sence. the 1st one I couldn't even where a tampon it hurt soooo bad. But I didn't bleed to heavy the pain was the only thing different. Well the 2nd one (which started yesterday) I haven't even tryed the tampon and it hurt just like a regular period for me which is bad but controllable (just feels like my right side hurts a little more. Very sharp pains every now and then). But im lossing clots not too big but big enough where I got to change the pad every 1 to 2 hours. My ? is, is this normal for the months following miscarrage or what do you think.

You need to see a doctor or nurse to get checked out as soon as you can.

i suggest seeing a doctor. I had a miscarriage at about 11 weeks in between my two kids. Yes my first period was painful just like the miscarriage, but it didn't hurt to put in a tampon. And I didn't clot. Have you been checked with an ultrasound? Sounds like you might not have got rid of everything with the miscarriage or you might have some scaring. They had to check for those 2 things when they did an ultrasound after my miscarriage because I was in a lot of pain. Good luck and hope you feel better soon

If you are passing old blood clots, (dark red or purple) this is usually common following a miscarriage, but only for a few weeks.
If the blood is very red, like a nose bleed, then you will need to be seen right away. This could possibly indicate there may be some retained products of conception, (tissue, sac, placenta) still inside your uterus, and needs to come out with the help of the doctor.
Godspeed!

It's not normal. You need to see a doctor. You might have had an incomplete miscarriage, or if you had a D&C they might have missed something which is causing you to clot.
You really need to see someone as soon as possible. Too much blood loss can do irrepairable damage or kill you.

Yes, your flow sounds normal, however I recommend you not to wear tampons anymore, tampons absob the flow BUT it all stays inside of you, the blood is meant to leave your vagina not to stay inside of it, that might have caused your problems. A doctor told me this, he said that tampons are just not good.

go to your gyno asap!!!
because you've had a previous miscarriage, any period abnormalities you notice should be reported to your gp immediately!!
go see your doc now, i hate to sound dramatic but this could be an indicator of a serious problem, and it needs to be discussed with your doc.
