english to tagalog....tagalog is the language of filipino....so if you say hi it means kumusta....friend-kaibigan...how are you?-kumusta...good-mabuti...how about you? eh ikaw...im fine -ok lang....yes-oo; no-hindi;
pretty-maganda; ugly-pangit; handsome-gwapo; i love you-mahal kita; i hate you-galit ako sa iyo; did you eat already- kumain kana ba? what is your name?-ano ang pangalan mo?; how old are u?-ilan taon kana? good morning?-magandang umaga; good afternoon-magandang tanghali; good evening-magandang hapon; good night-magandang gabi....to you- sayo...if you have any question you can email me at jenny_richgirl@yahoo.com.

Ermm.. That's not French XD Good try though ;) In my opinion. it's much easier learning Visayan than French. I've been learning French for a year and I'm still having trouble with the language. Whereas visayan is much easier to learn if you have knowledge of tagalog. Good Luck =)

Say 'kumusta' or wassup? and to ask the name....anong pangalan mo? or just ask what's your name...i say if a Filipino/or Filipino is online....99.9 % she/he can speak English...that's the medium of instruction in the Philippines..so don't sweat it too much learning the language...although it could be cute....that u are trying....good luck..

hmm...tough one. filipinos use hi too. coz in the language, an informal greeting would be 'Oy!' but that would sound rude coming from a non-speaker.
