i was supposed to get my period on the 7th of august...i've been ttc...instead i just got brown spotting/cramps.

i don't feel pregnant but i've been getting nauseous every day and extremely tired.

i think i'm just 5 days past ovulation, (and getting slight cramps) but i don't feel pregnant.

is it okay if i just hold my pee in all day (haha) and then take a hpt later tonight, just to make sure? (so my urine is more concentrated)

advice needed! thanks!

5 days past ovulation might be too early to tell if you're pregnant...but it your period was due on the 7th and you've yet to have anything more than spotting...what the hell! The best time to take it is in the morning, but if you haven't peed for 4 hours or more it can't hurt to try it at night. Just make sure you test again in a week or so if you're still wondering. Good Luck!

It is best to take an HPT in the AM so your urine is more concentrated (especially if you are testing early). Since you are over 2 weeks late and your Hcg levels would be high at this point if you were pregnant, if you hold your urine for a few hours you should get an accurate result at night. You can get lots of good info at www.peeonastick.com, it's a great website. Good luck!!

If you were supposed to have your period on the 7th, then you would be WAY more than 7 days past ovulation (unless you counted that spotting as your period). Take a pregnancy test! If you are as many days past ovulation as you would have to be (for expecting your period on the 7th), you would most likely get accurate results using ANY urine, not just first morning urine.

It sounds like you are pregnant, if you should of got your period on the 7th I dont think it will matter when you take a test. It should be clear since its two weeks past your period date. If it doesnt come out clear then go to the doctor and they can test your blood and tell you for sure. Good Luck.

Usually when you take a pregnancy test it doesnt really matter when you take it. If your pregnant your pregnant. They say the best time is when you first wake up, but I have taken it at night and it was positive. Dont hold in your pee lol... That could cause a bad infection.

There are hpt that can be taken at any time of the day so don't hold that pee because you will then end up with a urine infection. lol. Good luck

it doesnt matter if u hold your pee in it wont make any differnce. the pregnancy tests react with a chemical given off when you ar pregnant. take the test anytime you want. and if it is positive see your doctor! good luck
