i remember beating this game a lot. but i think you have to beat the gym or something like that. you should go to cheat planet and go to pokemon gold for gbc.then go to walkthroughs and go to lavender town. good luck

The guy won't move even if the world met it's end.
Believe me, nobody had ever successfully got pass the gaurd no matter how many tries people try to figure out a simple way, nor try to cheat to move him. NO ONE!!!!!!
