How do I get "voice over" work? Id love to do voice work for film... how do I start? Who do I contact? Where/how can I get an audition(s)?

To get the work people need to know you exist and that you have the voice they want. I recommend doing voicework for animation, docs, shorts etc done by either friends or family. Get involved with someone who makes films even if its short films made by an amateur and then post it on the web such as you tube.com Ever seen that singin in the rain car ad? One of the guys dancing as Gene Kelly was noticed and offered the job because they saw a video clip of him dancing on the web.

You would first start by contacting talent agencies in your area. They would have you audition for them, then send you on auditions for voice over work.
