Your opinions on her music?

I like most her music. I'm not a huge fan of her image, especially the very sexual connotations of the way she presents herself.( well, i don't know if it's relevant though, coz now she doesn't dress as 'undressed' type but oh well, i'm talking about her 'dirrty' phase)
however, she has a stunning voice. Her choice of singles are not the best, but there are some really excellent songs in her album 'stripped'- they're all about catchy tunes, women empowerment and positive thinking. I've not bought her recent album yet though, because the 'ain't no other man' song doesn't really appeal to me, i'll wait and see. Although i think it was a daring thing to try to reinvent the 1930's music and she rather succeeded.

Girl's got the most amazing vocal control I've heard in a long time. Her producer is also impressive: most of her music is a combination of complex tones and beats that make you tap you toe, whether you want to or not.
Do I like her as a performer? No.
I feel disappointed that she's allowed herself to be almost dehumanized in how she tramps around in next to nothing and in how she sings songs that are far from profound. Especially since she's a role model for young girls and young women. She sends the message that somehow being a sex object is acceptable and that THAT 's what women are for. How sad. I think it's wonderful to present yourself as comfortable in your skin and confident in your sexuality... but her message is more like: "two inches thick of makeup and slutty lingerie is all us ladies is good for."
My Mom burned bras to annihilate that mindset. And I'm not too fond of that mindset either.

She does have a beautiful voice, but I am not sure I like her new stuff..Its very different..not really main stream, although, no said she has to play follow the leader in the music industry...As long as she is singing what she likes thats all that really matters

I think she has a beautiful voice, but her choices for songs suck. She needs better production, more ear catching lyrics, and a better image. The 1920's thing is not doing it for her. Maybe if her music mimicked her image, it would be hot. Like if she did Billie Holiday type songs or something. But she tries to be hip hop but dresses like a lounge singer. It's ridiculous.

Wonderful voice, but the music itself doesn't live up to her voice. Loved her Christmas album though.

Best Voice in music. But I do not care for her music. I am more of a rocker.

She has totally went downhill after the release of Dirrty in 2002

I am listining to Back to Basics right now, and I love it! I think she has a beautiful voice, and each album keeps getting stronger. I was afraid that "Stripped" would be difficult for her to follow up, but she has done well!!
