I'm in Florida the lightning capitol of the world and the only time it makes me jump is when it strikes WAY too close. My cat, on the other hand, disappears under the bed until the storm has passed.

Not me, I love to go out in the storms and try to get Pictures of the bolts as they strike. I love to hear the thunder rolling in the background. To hear the rain hitting the roof of my house, and I love the smell of the air either right before or right after a good summer rain...

I am scared of lightning. I think I'll get struck if I'm not careful. That's all. I don't hide really.

Funny enough, the lightening is supposed to be scarier than the thunder...but the loudness of thunder really freaks me out. Can't stand it. And I think the lightening is kinda pretty...go figure. lol

last week there was a really scary one in switzerland. Usually I'm not afraid but taht one was like the end of the world, really, really scary.
