Actually you can bring as many as you like if you don't buy them duty free.

Spain is part of the EEC and the rules changed 10 years ago about the limits you could or could not bring.

If you are in the airport you will not be able to buy true "duty free" as you are travelling into and out of EEC countries. There is no duty free on the aircraft now either.

The Canary Islands are under different rules as they are tax exempt islands, hence the 200 limit still being in place.

As many as you think you can get away with... Ignore the 200 limit .. I travel there a few times a year.from the UK ... as long a you dont get too greedy.. keep it to 10k max and they will turn a blind eye..

Back to where?? If its uk, it's 200. as Its a duty free port. My mate just came back from Gran Canaria and they (customs) took 1200 off him 'cos he didn't know that!
