How do we really know what happened to Jon Benet? Do you think John Karr killed her? Why or why not?

At what point is it innocent until proven guilty? Do you think we are jumping to conculisons? Or is the media justified in it's coverage on this case?

I think Karr is a pedophile whith a disturbed mind; a man who perhaps needs attention and has been enthralled with the case; a man who obviously has complex mental issues. I don't believe he killed JonBenet, but what do I know? I only know what the media puts out, and it is no secret that the media is driven by sensationalism and propoganda, as well as an occassional real news item filled with accuracy. If Karr stubs his toe while in jail I am confident that the news agencies will detail it for me in the most explicit ways, providing shots of the doorway it happened on, interviews with the doctor who examined it, interviews with people in the facility that saw him limp by, as well as interviews of people who have either known him to have stubbed his toe before or who question whether or not it happened. The coverage is ridiculous.

I do not think he is the one that killed Jon Benet. I think he is just another show off, another suspect. I think the Boulder, Colorado police has not properly gathered the evidence after the girl has disappered some ten years ago. One think some one like us from other countries that live here in the USA are wondering about is; why does the legal system in the USA take solong to solve a case and to put them to jail? In Germany they are throughout with investigation a crime scene. I still think somewhat the parents are involved. Wait til they fell the judgement on Mr. Karr and I will be right by saying he is just going to use this event , the attention and the media and than go for the big bucks!!!!

I don't think they have released all of what happened to her...but I also dont think John Karr did it. There are too many things pointing towards the fact that he wasnt even around then. His ex says he had Christmas with them.....and I suppose she could be mistaken....but when I watched that first time he talked with the reporters....he NEVER said.."I killed her"....he said......"I was with her when she died..and it was an accident".....was someone else involved..or is he just a creepy psycho that is obsessed with this child and the case?.....He seems to really like the publicity from it all..and I think he was geting ready to face charges overseas..and was afraid. I dont know.....its going to be interesting to see how it all plays out though...great Question !!!!

I agree with some of these answers and disagree with others. I don't think that he did it...too many holes in story and he is just an odd ball. He probably is looking for his name to go down in history with this case. And he wants to sell his book he has been working on. My personal opinion still is that the parents didn't do it. Some may argue that up and down but I am sticking with my gut. I think that John and Patsy were ridiculed from the very beginning, there were many slip-ups from the police where they were just concentrating on them and not other possibel suspects. We shall see I guess as time unfolds, it's a shame that Patsy died before justice was able to be served.

Mr. Karr needs the publicity to get the book he has been working on for years published. Just a big waste of taxpayers money bringing him back to this country at all. I think he is just making fools out of a lot of people.

I believe this will be worth the wait. We are so use to fast food and drive thru's. Just let it play out, this is one case that needs to be resolved. It's really hard to comphrend there are evil people, as John Karr we need to take notes so we learn from this. They are amoung us. Our home is a place of refuge we should never have to compromise this.

everyone jumps to conclusion. ESPECIALLY the media. judging from the autopsy we know how she was injured. there are only certain ways to cause certain traumas and what karr was saying didn't add up. from what he's been saying it seems that either he is telling the truth or that certain things or evidence in the investigation were not leaked. if he did do it then he would be the only one who knew. but so far, his testimony hasn't been coherent with what the reports show.

The feeding frenzy by the press on this case is disgusting. This case already has enough to make TV reporters salivate. There is a rich little white girl murdered, a pedophile suspect who was trying to get a sex change, one ex wife who was 16 when they married and another who was 13, the victim was a beauty contestant following in her mothers footsteps, I mother who, along with the father, was suspected of killing their own daughter, a mother who tragically died before her daughters killer could be brought to justice, the killer communicating with the mother right before she died. If this goes to trial it will make the OJ trial look like traffic court.

nicely at the beginning all that bastard did no longer could desire to pay for his cost ticket.. he have been given a loose airplane holiday decrease back to the states. i say we shove this sicko in reformatory if he's loopy adequate to admit to a severe profile homicide case 10 years previous even if he's risky and should not be on the streets (no longer point out of his newborn porn quotes, his sexual predator dispositions (have been given in contact sexually with a 13 and sixteen 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous) and hes a school instructor for god sakes that soo frightening that he develop into left on my own with toddlers at one time or yet another. Does it really matter if he killed her or not? Did you see his pictures? That is one creepy looking fellow and if not guilty of killing her he is certainly guilty of some other disgusting crime. At some point you just need to judge the book by the cover and put it down.
